That is Correct, Commander.
Top 5 Guilty Pleasure Movies:1. One Fine Day
Michelle Pfeiffer was never hotter than she was in this film, George Clooney is awesome (as expected), the kids are actually both very good, and Amanda Peet might also be at her hottest in this (a rare two-female star hotness peak crossover). Dually, there's an exchange about superheroes, LSD, and "the f-word" that restores my faith in humanity.
2. Indian in the Cupboard
For God's sake, Darth Vader fights a tyrannosaurus! Done.
3. Mr. Holland's Opus
Who cries during this movie? ...certainly not me...
4. Circle of Friends
God, I need to turn in my Man card. I really don't know why I even have a penis.
5. The Big Chill
I swear...I really don't like this movie...ok, I do. Jeff motherhumpin' Goldblum!
Top 5 Underrated/Forgotten Movies
1. Sleepers
So freaking good. I'm not even going to explain myself; if you've seen it, you know.
2. Houseguest
Sinbad and Phil Hartman are automatic in this. I demand to know why Sinbad didn't become a huge comedy star. The transitions between comedic and dramatic moments are not at all smooth but I don't care.
3. Heavyweights
Written by Judd Apatow and featuring Paul Feig...and they aren't even the best parts of the movie. Ben Stiller is awesome in it and they didn't cheese it up as much as they probably could have. I love that it also captures a lot of the 1990s kid movie magic -- very distinct than if it were made in the 80s or today.
4. Sgt. Bilko
I don't even know if anyone remembers it. But it is really funny for being really shallow; again, Phil Hartman is awesome. The small roles by Chris Rock and Dan Akyroyd are exceptionally memorable. This may, in fact, be the last valiant effort of Steve Martin's career.
5. So I Married an Axe Murderer
Shit is BOSS.
...so, there you go.
